Dawn & Joey are married!

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

Dawn and Joey were married over Memorial Day weekend. I’m so happy that I got to take part in their special day. Everything turned out perfectly, including the weather for their outdoor ceremony! On Friday night, the minute we finished the rehearsal, it started to pour rain, but it was absolutely gorgeous on Saturday, in the upper 70s with a slight breeze.

I’ll talk more about their details when the photos are up, so I’ll just do a quick run-down of their vendors for now. I want to say “thank you” to all of them for making the day as wonderful as it was!

Southern Summer Picnic Inspiration Board

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

It’s finally starting to get and stay warm outside, so here’s a summer picnic inspiration board. The Nashville area has lots of great plantations and mansions for wonderful Southern receptions.

Get Relish!

Sunday, May 4th, 2008

Relish is a new invitation company based in Nashville that allows you to customize your invitations. You choose the paper, the color scheme, the wording, and the embellishments. They will also design your RSVPs, direction cards, thank you cards, and more.

I had the honor of attending their official launch party this afternoon and got to meet and chat with the creators, Stephanie Resch and Rebecca Vajdos. They are super nice, so if you have any special requests for your invitations, just ask them! For those of you with international friends and families, their website states that they can print your invitations in other languages, as well as printing a specific number in English and a specific number in another language. Also, contact me to find out how to receive free shipping on your order.

Tomorrow is their online launch party, and they will be doing giveaways, so be sure to check it out.
